Explore Western Canada's largest collection of Holocaust-related artefacts, survivor testimonies, archival materials and publications through the Vancouver Holocaust Education Centre (VHEC) Collections catalogue.

The VHEC acquires, preserves and makes available these items as documentary evidence of the Holocaust and its effect on individuals, families and society. A major digitization initiative is underway to make the VHEC's Collections accessible to students, educators, researchers, survivors and the broader public. We are continually adding records and digitized items to the catalogue but not all records in the collection are suitable for digitization. Researchers are encouraged to visit the Centre in person to access non-digitized holdings described in our finding aids.

The VHEC is engaged in a major Renewal Project that will significantly improve visitor experience and access to our collections. VHEC Collections will be closed to research requests until June 21, 2018. The VHEC Library will also be closed during this time. Please contact collections@vhec.org to discuss donations. For further details about the Renewal Project, consult the overview. Thank you for your understanding and our apologies for any inconvenience.
