SummaryThis teacher's guide is intended to support the school program related to the exhibition Scream the Truth at the World: Emanuel Ringelblum and the Hidden Archive of the Warsaw Ghetto. The school program "focuses on Jewish responses to the Holocaust and considers the questions: What is resistance? What were the obstacles to resistance during the Holocaust? What forms did Jewish resistance to Nazism take? Can writing be a form of resistance?" Page 1. The teacher's guide supports the objectives of the school program, including: "To understand the richness and diversity of the lives of Polish Jews before and during the Holocaust... To explore issues about documenting history, in particular about recording unprecedented events while living them... To consider questions about the nature of resistance; to examine the Jews’ physical and spiritual struggle to survive, both individually and as a people." Page 3
