NoteThe donor's family, the Brimbergs, came from Pinsk, in what is now Belarus. Different members took different trajectories before and during the war - some went to Montreal, some to Palestine, and one member of the family was on a kindertransport to England - but the majority remained in Pinsk and perished at the hands of the Nazis.
