Summary"We glimpse the Warsaw Ghetto most often through the lenses of Nazi propagandists and German soldiers who toured the enclosure created for"subhumans". Nazi photographers and cameramen exploited ghetto residents as subjects with the aim of depicting them as debased and humiliated. But he truth as different. Jews in the ghetto struggled for their dignity each day. 

We have tried here, for the first time, to collect photographs of the Warsaw Ghetto taken by Jewish photographers. We undertook this search not only in Poland, but also in museums in Israel and in the United States."— Text in page 5
