Summary"The German occupants wanted to wipe out all traces of the mass murder of inhabitants of the Warsaw Ghetto... However Hitler's troops did not manage to fulfill the order completely. Some material traces of the former Ghetto were preserved, and this album is dedicated to them. We show the existing photographs, which depict those fragments of the Ghetto, which may still be found in today's Warsaw, on its streets and backyards. Photographs are accompanied by excerpts from memoirs, reports or later reminiscences concerning the presented places or situations." —Introduction
