Exhibition TypeTravelling exhibition
Event DateOctober 31, 2005–December 16, 2005
VenueVancouver Holocaust Education Centre
DescriptionQuestionable Issue is a travelling exhibition produced by the Holocaust Museum Houston. It consists of eighty-five pieces of scrip (currency) issued at thirteen Nazi concentration camps or ghettos, including Auschwitz, Dachau, Buchenwald and the Warsaw ghetto. Artefacts were donated by numismatist Charlton E. Meyer Jr., owner of the most complete collection of money from the Holocaust known today. The currencies of the Nazi-imposed camps and ghettos of the Second World War attest to the extent of the tragedy.
